About Me

My name is Samantha Mallory Burke. I am a senior at Appalachian State University and I am graduating in May of 2010. I am an Accounting major and plan to do an internship in the spring with a public accounting firm. After I graduate in May I plan on staying in Boone for one more year and getting my masters in accounting. I grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina where I attended elementary through high school. I have two brothers, Stephen and Trey. Stephen graduated from Guilford College 2 years ago and Trey just started his freshman year at UNC Pembroke. My parents names are Carol and Ed. My Mom designs socks for IZOD and my Dad is now recently retired. I have three dogs at my parents house, named Tom, Jerry, and Lady. Tom is a shepard, lab, boxer mix, and Jerry and Lady are black labs. This summer I started a job visiting and running errands for an elderly lady named Agnes. I continue to visit her and care for her about twice a week. It is a good and rewarding experience for me and I hope to continue until I leave Boone.
